Hammersmith & Fulham Homes- 1 Star - June 2008 Audit commission report.

Well H&F Homes score 1 star again in the Audit Commission Report of 12th June 2008.

You can see the report by Clicking here.

What is of concern, and I have yet to read the report thoroughly is the recommendation on Page 11 R3 is "introducing service charges for tenants".

Also of note is that the service fails to make buildings accessible for disabled "customers" and the service doesn't meet the Commission for Racial Equality code of practice.

Still only one star, but has moved up from 'uncertain' to 'promising' prospects.

Thanks for your comments. You will understand if being in the receiving end of the service I remain to be convinced.

OCS are responsible for the door entry system. 6 weeks ago I first logged a call about this not working. With no progress a week and a half ago I booked another call. The engineer was due last Thursday. When I called to check up on why he had not arrived within the 48 hours I was told he has called and had left a card. No card was found.

On this particular Thursday there were several appointments due to call to me that day. So I was, as is usual, in ALL day. Infact an Inspace electrician was one of these appointments.

Having resheduled the OCS appointment for Monday (yesterday) 2 engineers showed up. When questioned about the card he said he was sure he has left one. However I checked both front doors.

Transpires that the motherboard for the whole system in the block needs to be replaced.

If you have a contractor that is on a Service Level Agreement of 48 hours response I assume this is what is being paid for. Who audits this? Clearly it is not being met? How is H&F homes ensuring value for money here?

When do the "promising prospects" start?
